
Pedro Emanuel Pereira
Considered one of the most prominent Portuguese pianists and composers of his generation (Guimarães, 1990), Pedro Emanuel Pereira presents his unique art and worldview. As a soloist, notable performances include recitals in Barcelona, New York, and Amsterdam, as well as concerts with the Yerevan Opera Orchestra, the Casa da Música do Porto Orchestra, and the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra. From his academic journey, notable achievements include his degree from the Moscow Conservatory P.I. Tchaikovsky under the guidance of pianist Vera Gornostaeva and postgraduate studies at the Amsterdam Conservatory with pianist Naum Grubert, earning top marks and Cum Laude honors. During this period, he received scholarships from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the Jacques Vonk Foundation. He also studied orchestration and instrumentation with Mikhail Bogdanov and Artun Hoinic. Alongside his career as a concert pianist and composer, Pedro Emanuel Pereira is conducting academic research at the University of Aveiro, part of the doctoral program in Artistic Creation.
