Dília Silva

With a degree in recreational tourism, Dília Silva is a professional artisan who works mainly with reed weaving. Her husband’s family introduced her to this material, and she collaborated with him to create JUNCUS, a craft brand that seeks to modernise and diffuse the art of reed-working, particularly in the fashion sector.

Currently, Dília and her husband are transforming an old primary school into a local arts and crafts school, where they plan to welcome people in excursions, study visits and workshops designed to share their knowledge of craft techniques.

Cristina integrated the training team of Fazer Bem and she taught reed weaving techniques to the participating women.
